2. Google "John Heartfield" -- images or just regular

If you google "John Heartfield" on images, it's on page 4.

John Heartfield was a German Leftist who in the 1920's literally invented photomontage and applied it politically. He hated Hitler and the Nazis and was also an extreme leftist. His work is amazing!

8. BrklynLiberal, great piece.

I've seen the one below but this one is new. I first saw Heartfield at the Edinburgh Festival in 1971 (yikes!). They had an entire hall devoted to huge reproductions of his photographs. Blew my mind. We've got more than a few "John Heartfields" here on DU with their innovative photoshop agitprop. Love this place.
