My mom's dog sings with the harmonica |
|
It is the craziest think I have ever seen. When she takes out the harmonica, the dog runs up, jumps on her lap and howls along. When the music stops, the dog stops, then when the music begins, she is up and howling again. Guess you'd have to see it to appreciate it.

1. My brother's chihuahua does that! |
|
Not harmonica, but there's a particular opera piece that sets him off. It's got sort of a high running scale. So my brother has since trained him to howl along to all sorts of high sounds & even has a particular ringer on his phone that sets it off. My entire family thinks this is absolutely hysterical and at one point over Christmas (bro and dog were visiting) we had all of us sitting around in the kitchen howling along with the dog....
Yes, we're weird.

2. my parents cat did that too |
|
many years ago my parents had a siamese cat, and one time, my father went to serenade my mother on the harmonica, and the cat started yowling along. so my father picked him upand put him in the house (this happened on the back pourch) and started playing again. and from inside the house, through the window, the cat started yowling again. i didn't see this, but my older brother swears it happened.

4. I saw something like this on America's Funnies Animals |

I would have sworn the dog was trained, but my mom's dog, Angel just does it. It is crazy. She will only do it when she is in a playful mood. She actually changes pitch and volume with the music.
