I am hopelessly and passionately in love with my wife. She and my 3 year old son are the family I always dreamed of.
To think, at slob bones university we would have had our asses kicked out. I'm white, she's Hispanic and we adopted an African American little boy. We are also Catholic. Those "good Christians" (including whistle ass, who did not challenge their views when he spoke there in '00) would hate us!

I envy the fathomless people, but as a child of two people with the worst marriage in the history of the universe, I could never be quite there. Maybe a little exageration, but by the time I was 19, my parents had been married and divorced from each other twice and spent years on again and off again, moved me around every couple of years because of their "issues" with each other, and overall made my life really unstable. I've dealt with a lot of emotional crap because of it and somehow have managed to have a good marriage, but no, not fathomless because to me that means unconditional and in all honesty for most marriages to work, there are a few conditions that if unfullfilled is a roadblock. I've never been naive (or open my heart that much if you want to look at it from that standpoint) enough to believe that anything could be that perfect.

21. I'd love to experience unconditional love, but |
|
maybe you're right - our relationships with pets (and young children?) aside. It'd be nice, though, to at least be close to that asymptote of fathomless, unconditional love. I live in hope! :D
No, wait a minute..Bill Clinton lived in Hope, not me...

I spent three days in there quite a few years ago. Got pictures and everything. It was hard work, but the rewards were fantastic. Did a lot of sweating. I was so hungry when I climbed out of there, too. :D
Was it good for you, too?

|
Edited on Fri Sep-26-03 08:12 PM by GOPisEvil
They served burgers called "Cow Pies". They were DELICIOUS! But, they got shut down by the health dept. a few times. :D
So, when you ordered, you ordered a cow pie and fries! :D
Edit - Oh, and their logo on the window was a cow jumping rope! :P
Sadly, it's gone now, though...

selling all-natural cow pies through Costco, coincident with starting a nationwide chain of cowpie outlets. America's ready for it - look at what they've been fed the last few years!

that sells 'Cow Chip Cookie's.' Big chocolate chip splats twice the size of a large fist. They're quite tasty when served warm.
