Would the US invade Canada to take away our post-X-mas boxes? |

I mean, if you guys ever found out the true significance of Boxing Day, I think you'd be on it like Haliburton on oil.

I've never gotten the significance of "Boxing Day".
BTW Mr. Wonderful is from Co. Down, Ireland, Catholic and an ex-IRA man.
"Boxing Day" for the past 25 years means a group of half-drunk men descend on my house at 1:00 pm CST and play a card game called "45". Then about 6:00 pm CST or 7:00 pm CST, they all decide they want something to eat.
I tell them every year that there's left over turkey, ham, stuffing, etc in the "fridge" and to help themselves. Guess what, I end up making "samwiches" and tea for the whole lot, HP Sauce and all.
Mind you, this whole group has been at my house Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and were very well fed, but every year on Boxing Day it all happens again and I really don't' mind.
It's just a bit of craic!!

We'll invade Canada whenever Rummy decides to ... and not a second before.
