While being whipped around by the cold wind and rain at Wrigley this afternoon waiting for the game that never happened, I couldn't help but notice a cart being being wheeled into one of the luxury skyboxes filled with all manner of delectible goodies. As "Joe Six-Pack" stood in the stands being buffeted by blustery weather for hours, corporate types snuggled contentedly munching on eclairs and cheesecake, hmmmmm...what is wrong with this picture?

2. There is a world of difference. |

I don't like basketball, but was once invited to the Skybox at Madison Square Garden for a Knicks game. What a pleasant evening that was.
Lots of food and drink, a comfortable sofa, and television to see the game if you didn't want to sit at the counter viewing the live game.
I also once attended a party at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where you could smoke, drink, and eat, artifacts be damned. There was nothing to prevent a drunk from spilling alcohol on the highly prized carved wooden alligator.
There's an amazing difference between the rules for the rich and the rules for the rest of us.
