Just had a nice left-wing DVD spooge (The Hunting of the President, etc.)
Farenheit 911, The Hunting of the President, and Bush's Brain all in a single night.

I hated Bush's Brain frankly. Poorly made, confusing, distracting and not anywhere near as powerful as it could and should have been.

I'd seen Farenheit 911 before. It was good, but not great.

My favorite was the Hunting of the President. Especially because of Clinton's live appearance at the end. I'd been starting to forget what a brave, dynamic, intelligent and wise man he is. Made me all excited to be a Democrat again. The movie just made a lot of great points and made me think. I especially appreciated the analysis of the press in the days of Watergate and today. Why things have changed so much. back then there were only 3 networks. Today competition has turned journalism into something ugly. With Watergate, the press worked to stop an abuse of power. With Clinton, the media remembered Watergate but they misunderstood it. They thought their job was to destroy the president, not to stop an abuse of power. It was sad.

It was also kind of sad to hear Clinton's optimism, before the 2004 elections.

Anyway, the experience really recharged me and made me all democraty and leftwingy again.
