I'm using Firefox & I can't log onto DU...
I had to use Internet Explorer to post this thread.

Does anyone know what I can do to make adjustment to Firefox?
Thanks!

And I want to get out of this user hell (Internet Explorer), myself.

13. I was in this morning on firefox
Then left for awhile, and couldn't get back in till I switched to EI. AAARRRGGG I forgot how annoying it is to get blocked by popups every minute.

9. Is it a new build?
I use Opera myself, but I also use Moz on occassion too.

Did you recently install a new build of Firefox? That might be the problem. Otherwise "Ask The Admins" would be worth a look.

11. It can be a cookie thing
Edited on Mon Dec-27-04 05:23 PM by miss_kitty
Also-try the Avant Browser-configured very much like IE, has popup blocking, flash supression and tabbed browsing.

I am on using FF...I have had to go through and figure out which 2 cookies to delete and go into my cookie manager to reset the DU Cookie (Allow) and once I deleted all my cookies and reimported them from IE (Firefox 1.0 allows cookies only re-importation)

On Edit: Avant URL http://www.avantbrowser.com/

19. When you start your browser...
Does it open to more than one page? Do you know how to use tabbed browsing?

23. Ok...
I have had this problem with my firefox browser also. I thought it was because I had multiple tabbed web pages opening when I started my browser.

I noticed that when DU goes to the Phase One of features that are disabled that is when I can't log in using FF.

22. Hi,
I've been using FireFox today and logging in to DU without any problems.

You might repost this in the Computer Help and Support Group .

DU Computer Help Group

Some of the DUers hanging out there really understand FireFox.
