2. Unfaithful, English Patient, Persona, The Piano Teacher... |
|
Diane Lane is really sexy in Unfaithful; however, my SO thinks the monologue in Persona where Bibi Anderson is describing two boys having sex with her & her girlfriend on a beach is pretty sexy. Also, anything with Adam Sandler in it is really sexy...

It was partcularly evocative of Seattle at night, at least as I saw it when I lived there 79-80.
I'll have to watch it again.

starring Ellen Barkin and Dennis Quaid set in New Orleans about the kinda sorta dirty cops. As I remember it, Barkin and Quaid had great chemistry.

I loved it when the Barkin character was complaining about her bad choices in men, and Quaid grabbed her for a big passionate movie-ola kiss, saying "your luck is gonna change" or somehing like that - very sexy scene

The whole scene with the chain link fence with Linda Fiorentino.
And any movie with Sam Elliott is sexy no matter who he's playing - I've often said I could watch him sit in front of a blue screen and read out of the dictionary, and I'd find it pretty hot.

|
As a gay man I'm somewhat limited in non-porno movies I find sexy. Actually MBL wasn't so much sexy as terribly terribly romantic. I was sighing for days.
I found that upside down kiss in the original Spiderman very very sexy for some reason. I was sighing for days after that one too.

also, not a sexy movie per se.....but i can pinpoint the exact moment i hit puberty to the first time i saw grace kelly in "rear window". RRRRROWWWWWW!

|
Edited on Tue Dec-28-04 02:07 PM by CBHagman
Daniel Day Lewis, Lena Olin, and Juliette Binoche. Need I say more?
On edit: Note how well adultery is represented in this particular thread. Do we romanticize adultery? C.S. Lewis, call your office!
I also like Eric Rohmer films and Kieslowski films. And certain Merchant-Ivory films, such as "A Room with a View" and "Maurice," are pretty sensual.
But the poster above who mentioned "To Have and Have Not," in which the dialogue and on-screen chemistry between Bacall and Bogart really heat things up. Be sure also to see "The Big Sleep" for the same reason. I like films that leave you wanting more. Some of the Hays Code era films were pretty powerful in their own way.
