did your HS and/or college class have a song?
My college class doesn't to the best of my knowledge, but my High school class's song was "With arms wide open" by Creed. I went to a Catholic high school and that was the one played at our class retreat and the mass before graduation.

what's yours?

3. My high school had a "fight" song
which is now stuck in my head, thankyouverymuch.

And a school song which I can't remember over the "fight" song playing in my head.

:7

Yes, had them for college as well, but still can't think over the "fight" song.

Fight on, fight on,
Keep fighting 'til we have won
We're from Clark
We're the best
So good-bye to all the rest
Chargers strong
Chargers bold
We'll fight for the black and gold
mumble mumble mumble fight! fight! fight!
something else here then a really cool drum riff.

Ack!

6. My high school class song was hilarious
I assume you mean fight song? This one is from like the turn of hte century, but it's still the fight song today, and it was when I went to school there a couple of decades ago. Kalamazoo Central High School

Here's to Central High School
We're full of fight
Here's to our colors
of Maroon and White
Here's to all our fellows
Fair maidens too
Singing the battle song
of Old Kazoo

10. Just the fight song - On Wisconsin
But we were a small farming community in Kansas... Hmmmmm...

I was in band (played Trumpet) and had a smart mouth which I didn't keep shut even as a freshman and also had no school spirit. During my first ever football game, the lead trumpet player told us, "Okay, we're going to play the fight song everytime our team scores a touchdown." I yelled back, "So we have the night off then?" During basketball season, he asked the band, "What do you want to play when the team comes out onto the floor." I suggested "Send in the Clowns." I also wanted our fight song changed to "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen." I also put a book inside my shaker hat to read in the stands during football games. I was also right - I don't recall a single touchdown scored during a home game. :)

Of course, this pissed off the lead trumpet player who had short man's disease (Napolean Complex). What's funny though is Mike and the Mechanic's, "All I Need Is a Miracle" was a regular on our playlist for four years, and no one caught on to the possible negativity of playing that at halftime.

at least, I think that's the title and band. Too lazy to look it up, hehe. It was for my high school graduating class. (2001) That song is incredibly sappy :p
