Finally saw the remake of "The machurian candidate" |

I thought the casting of Liev Schreiber as Raymond was spot on and Meryl Streep was also very good but overall it can't hold a candle to the original. The brainwashing scenes were very disappointing imo.

and the original brainwashing scenes in candidate were so well done and way ahead of their time in terms of dialogue and i also thought the Demarco role was for better played by Frank Sinatra.
