Do you think there will be a huge benefit concert for tsunami victims? |
|
Not to sound cynical, but since 80's nostalgia is coming back, do you see a Live Aid-style concert on the horizon to benefit the victims of the disaster? Since there was already a 20th anniversary Band Aid recording, I'm inclined to say yes.

4. Barring a nuclear winter.. |
|
.. this would be the most catastrophic disaster in our lifetime.
But sadly, not enough to displace R-progs for good.

but the problem with the Concert for Bangladesh is that it was a huge financial disaster. Hopefully, if someone does organize one, may it go off much better. I see Geldof planning a Live Aid 2.

Nothing wrong with that, as long as the aid gets to the people in need and it isn't just a big publicity stunt.
