Speak up! My tinnitis is kicking in this week! |
|
Too damned much Tramadol always does that to me. But I need the pills because my legs have been acting up with the change in season, so I guess I'll have to get an ear-horn to go along with my cane.

1. My sinuses have been in a world of hurt |
|
I have three humidifiers going 24/7, and I still have sinus headaches and bloody noses. :-(
What's it like to have tinnitis? One of my favorite bands (Mission of Burma) broke up years ago because one of the members had it really bad.

High-pitched ringing in the ears, completely scrambling the higher frequencies, making the low end a bit muffled and far away (oh, wait, that part's just from the ear wax...).
A pity, because about a year ago I had my hearing tested, and the doctor said I had better aural acuity than her-- I was 48, and she was about 24....

Started about 6 months ago and is now so loud it interferes with my already terrible hearing. Not a good thing for a musician. It drives me nuts and I have no idea where it came from. I suppose I should go in and have it checked out but I HATE doctors even though I am married to a retired doc. I simply hate to go. It is so LOUD.

4. Take any asprin-based pills on a regular basis? |
|
Asprin, Naproxen, etc. can be a major cause. There are other causes, but that's a good place to start.

5. I have it something awful. |
|
It actually makes it hard to go to sleep (it's constant, but daytime noise helps distract me. Medicine doesn't seem to be the cause, so guess I'll have to live with it.

6. I use earbuds at night |

letting music put me to sleep. If you're gonna have noise going through your head, why not make it something you WANT to hear, instead of that horrible ringing?
