What do you feel was Steve Buscemi's worst moment; best moment?
Edited on Wed Dec-29-04 02:15 AM by FDRrocks
I tuned into VH1 to see "Airheads." It occured to me that it is a horrible blemish upon Steve Buscemi's acting career.

His best, in my not-so-humble New Years week drunken opinion, is as Donny in "The Big Lebowski."

2. I really need to revisit it once....
It's been so long, I can barely rememeber the plot. Forgot Steve was even in it.

22. Yeah.
That was one of the best lines, when he comes in to that house with half his face blown off and says "You should see the other guy".

I read he got his start as a firefighter before going in to acting, he is a great actor, I admit it when I first saw him in con air, he creeped me out but damn he's a good actor.

You vaguely know me. If you ever lied to me I'd come to Boston and feed you spam.

I'm just saying. You know? If Steve Buscemi saved me from anything bigger than Wee-Man, I'd be amazed. :)

"Stabbed in the throat, head and arm during a barroom brawl at the Firebelly Lounge in Wilmington, NC. The brawl also involved Vince Vaughn. <12 April 2001>"

"Showed up at his old firehouse the day after the World Trade Center tragedy in New York to volunteer. Worked twelve hour shifts for a week after the terrorist act, digging through rubble with his old comrades looking for missing firefighters... anonymously. "

"Suffered a deep cut to the face during the bar room brawl in April of 2001. He now has a noticeable scar on his cheek. Heavy make-up is used to hide it in movies."

supposedly he took them on a whim, with no real intentions, and then he just sort of took off

6. It made me very happy to hear that he was down with Kerry....
I believe he was doing standup? ... or whatever Steve can do when you put him on a stage at a Kerry event.

In my opinion, Steve's subtlety is what makes him great. When he plays the slightly-higher-than-cameo character, he steals every scene.

It's why I do not like "Airheads."

Tyra Banks level. And above.

I was vegging out on VH1 and they were discussing who was hotter: Lindsay or Hillary Duff.

I could not believe what I was hearing. It is so obvious.

Man I sound like a vally girl....for fucks fake.

Lohan isnt my personal fave but she's pretty, Natalie Portman is what I call beautiful, she has it all IMO, its those eyes that I am attracted to, non concidentially my real crush has very attractive ones too.

Lots of funny moments in that movie, but mostly by actors who disappear for the rest of the film. Busecmi is funny throughout.

Edited on Wed Dec-29-04 02:27 AM by ISUGRADIA
he played a singer from a rock band who has AIDS. Very strong performance. Mid 80s, I found him hot looking in it too.

On Edit: He was bad in Armegedon not his fault but the script, but I know he has to earn $ too.

20. I gotta check these flick you guys mentioned out....
I mean, I've seen so many movies with Buscemi, I thought I had almost seen it all.

But I've never seen some of the movies you guys listed here. I've never even heard of them. I'm starting to suspect he had a very big career before he entered my view as an actor in the early 90's.

34. Well, what do you guys think of his performance in "Airheads"?
It starred him, Bredan Frasier, and Adamn Sandler.

He should've easily stole the scene, but he really didn't. He starred with two peices of one trick plyowood ponies, imo.
