A modest proposal: (drunken posting)

It has been brought to my attention that there is an inordinate amount of self-confessed/proclaimed drinking/drunken posting going on in here.
Especially around the week-ends.
Even though you may have air bags and are wearing your seatbelt, you could still endanger others.

I propose we institute a program of Designated Posters (DPs).
If about 10% of us on here at a given time volunteer, that should be enough.
DPs take a vow of abstinence for the period and will be responsible for collecting the keyboards of Alcohol Impaired Posters (AIPs).
If still capable of coherent vocal communication, AIPs may dictate to their respective DPs what to post here.
If coherent vocal communication becomes no longer possible, the DP will be responsible for tucking in the AIP and turning out the light.
When AIPs are able to pass a field sobriety test, their keyboards will be returned.

Remember: Friends don't let friends post drunk.
