Has there been a hate-mail drought?

I love the hate mailbag. It's extremely funny. But there hasn't been one since August 2nd. Has the writer just been busy, or have conservatives come to their senses?

Or am I just seeing the reality of how SAD (sa-a-a-a-ad) it really is that there are people who feel compelled to be so hateful and idiotic?

Intellectually I can see the "humor" in it. I can read it and think to myself "ah-ha... I understand why someone might laugh at that"... but I just don't laugh at it myself.

It doesn't tickle me.

Is it just me? I LOVE a good laugh. I'm a laugh a minute. I'll yuk-it-up with the rest of the clowns around here.

But the hatemail is just a monument to their bile and vomitous hatred and stupidity.

I'm glad SOMEONE is able to find humor in it still. Sigh.
