Hunter S Thompson. Warpath. The Rum Diary.
LMAO!!!!! You have to read this!

Hunter S. Thompson sticks it to the studio for lollygagging around with the film version of The Rum Diary, his early work. This fax is from Feb 2001, but I guess it worked; the film is now in pre-production with Johnny Depp and Bennecio Del Torro.

If you are an HST fan like me, you will not be disappointed! I'm unable to post a snippet b/c it's a scan of a fax. Just go read it!

They're making a rum diary movie!!!! Awsome Awsome...with depp and del toro...even more awsome!!!! I just figured out last night that depp was in Nightmare on elmstreet

shooting will not be until sometime next year, though. Have you read the book?
