The *ONE* job you really don't want anyone to know you had......
Well OK I'll start -

*DEEP BREATH*

I read Tarot - as well as Runes and use a pendulum and do Numerology. I once worked for (OH Goddess I hate to admit this) I worked as a reader for:

Miss Cleo!!!!!!

*hangs head in shame*

I quit becaseu my conscience would not allow me to hold these people online to spend money I knew they did not have. Keeping them on the phone for an hour would be a $400.00 charge to their credit card. And they never knew it.

I'm sorry. :(

3. Don't be sorry...
it's not your fault!

I was a janitor at the Eastland Mall in Columbus, Ohio in 1985 (when I was 17). I did it for two weeks. On the plus side, mall patrons would often comment on what a beautiful janitor I was.

:-)

5. I Did Telemarketing a Few Times
Edited on Wed Dec-29-04 08:15 PM by CO Liberal
For Morris County's Daily Record and the Newark Star-Ledger. I also did appointments for Lawn Doctor, just before I moved to Nevada.

I also did inbound telemarketing as well, in Late 2002 and Early 2003. If you called to order "Now That's What I Call Music", "Dean Martin Celebrity Roast" videos, or get info on Bowflex, we may have talked.

10. Used car salesman..................
hated it, hated it, HATED IT! It was in the early 70's, just before the Arab Oil Embargo. Lying to people with a straight face wasn't my cup of meat. I didn't last very long until they bounced me for not selling anything. I did leave with my self respect though. Then the AOE hit and it was a moot point. Nobody was selling anything. There were nothing but American made gas guzzlers back then. The poopie really hit the fan blade.
It would have been a perfect job for a Republican though. :)

14. No
Miss Cleo was an actress hired to do the commercials.

The man who owned the phone lines was making money hand over fist and was living high on the hog in Las Vegas. He was eventually indicted, and the lines were shut down.

13. Collector for delinquent Ad accounts in S Central LA
It got pretty depressing because the people could barely afford the rent for their small business.

Then there was the idea of walking around South Central with shitloads of cash
