Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is coming out 5/6/05
If we are still in the U.S. and alive then, who will be showing up with a towel?

Along with a cup of something almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea.
Share and Enjoy

7. I'd rather not tip my hand, so my towel will stay hidden
I may have to go to the theatre and drag my Trillian, er, Mrs. ZBD along to get her into the mood . . .

14. I hope it's good
Who is in the movie? I don't see a cast list on the website? Of course, my caffeine hasn't fully kicked in yet.

15. Martin Freeman and Mos Def
are Arthur and Ford, I think. Beyond that, I'm not quite sure.

Martin Freeman's great. I think he'll be a perfect Arthur Dent.

I've never seen Mos Def act before.

20. I've never heard of either of them before.
Are they British?

23. Martin Freeman is British
He's from The Office.

Mos Def is American. Used to be a hip-hop guy, now he's acted in some stuff. I think he was nominated for a Tony for a play on Broadway a few years back. (I could be mistaken about that though...)

16. It better be better than the BBC version
That's all I'm saying--that was the worst movie I've ever seen, and I love the increasingly inaccurately named trilogy.

19. The BBC TV series was pretty bad, except for the animated "book"
sequences. The BBC Radio series that started it all was, however, excellent. I posted a link above.

17. I will, of course.
I know where my towel is.

Sam Rockwell will be playing Zaphod. SR is great in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "GalaxyQuest", and "Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind". He'll be a terrific Zaphod.

Don't like their tiny, little Marvin, though.
