NetZero Hires The Bush Court Jester Dennis Miller
Netzero is airing commercials with Bush's court jester Dennis Miller as spokesperson. Miller is one celebrity that has had no qualms about selling his soul to the BushCo. empire. He has become even more un-funny as a trained monkey for Bush. I have included the PR emails for NetZero if you want to express your opinion.

1. Awww... and their previous candidate commercials were so funny.
The one at the debate and the one making fun of Howard Dean.

2. I saw these, and I will tell you as a person who used to IDOLIZE Dennis
that you are 100% correct.

I have no idea what happened to my hero, but if I were to meet him now, I would just have to shake my head and say "say it ain't so, Denny, say it ain't so."

If you followed his HBO show, it was inevitable that he was going Repub, but I gave the man enough credit in the brains and heart department to not fall for a complete jackass like Jr. Numbnuts.

Denny, I wanted to be you, now I burn your books. Hope Allie and the boys like the gifts, I have a feeling your career is in its final descent to hasbeenville, and you are in the cabin getting wings from the pilot.

3. I never liked him or thought he was funny; he's gotten a lot less so...
since he went to the dark side. Maybe Netzero will suffer from this dumb move.

4. Just signed up for Netzero about a month ago...
...and just dropped it on Tuesday. When they asked me why I said "Dennis Miller. I saw the commercials and realized that I didn't want any part of Netzero." I did tell him to be sure to put down that the service was fine, which was true. Figured it might sting a little more to lose a customer who was satisfied.

11. I loved his work...
He once demonstrated real genius with words. He was hilarious, but got rapidly less so in the late nineties, ranting in favor of capital punishment for people he knew nothing about, and similarly pretending to be angry about issues that couldn't possibly have touched him. Now, he doesn't seem to have any game left.

His only recourse was to whore himself to the highest bidders.

5. Dennis Miller is a pompous, pseudo-intellectual, snob. I couldn't stand
Edited on Thu Dec-30-04 10:11 AM by bunny planet
him when he was a Democrat, but now that he's figured out a way to cash in by being the court jester for the Republicans he is even more smarmy, insipid, disingenuous, and irrelevant. (just noticed you called him court jester too, if the long pointy shoe fits I guess) Organ-grinder
's monkey comes to mind too (although * looks much more like the monkey, making Darth Cheney the organ-grinder)

What is NetZero anyway? I don't watch much tv. Time for a smack-down with Dennis Miller though. He says he loves His Fraudulency now because he has made the world so much safer from terrorism, and that his (DM's) outlook changed on politics after 9/11. This theory is full of giant, 'I could drive my car through them' holes, and some other equally clever comedian (wouldn't take much, Miller is way over impressed with his wit and intellectual prowess) needs to go head to head with Miller in a public forum and make him look as assenine as he is. Who could it be? Now that I would watch.

6. Miller = Zero
NetZero fittingly describes Miller's career. He's bombed at virtually everything he's done. Remember the Monday Night Football fiasco? This guy is nothing.

12. NetZero is almost the equivalent to AOL. They are an internet service
provider, like Juno, who provide service cheap. I wont go with them, they are Repuketard donors.

7. Fuck Miller- everyone gives him too much credit just because
he can wear blue jeans and say a few SAT words. This guy needs to go up against someone that can clean his closk -verbally that is.

13. Miller vs. Maher....
Edited on Thu Dec-30-04 11:46 AM by Al-CIAda
1 hour debate, no holds barred...a battle for the ages.

(of course I think Maher would clean his clock)

8. Miller could be a useful guinea pig, I think.
Send him to Gitmo for a few days, put him in a cell with Christopher Hitchens, and they both might crack and confess why they 'switched' sides, if they ever picked a side at all.

I say it was money, a lot of it, direct from BushCo, and mainly to underscore just how much 'the world changed' after 9/11, and see, 'liberals' like these are proof.

Or else they are just plain fools.

9. DM: 400 lb Chimp
Dennis Miller is a total egomaniacal loser. So what. Now the repugs have Ron Silver, Colin Quinn, and Dennis Miller as their resident "celebs". Couldn't be more fitting.

BTW, did anyone notice that Quinn's show got cancelled? I knew it was coming when they starting trying to retool by making everyone stand, brought in the penalty box, etc... What a lameass. They should have just replaced Quinn w/ a new host. Would've given new meaning to the term "retool".

Colin Quinn is a hack. So is DM.
