Singing motorist wrecks car after bee flies into mouth |
|
Associated Press Thursday, September 18, 2003
DAYS CREEK, Ore. -- A Winston man told police he crashed his car after a bee flew into his mouth while he was singing along with Justin Timberlake's song "Rock Your Body" on the radio.
Douglas County Sheriff's spokeswoman Pam Frank said John L. Nunes, 19, was trying to get rid of the bee or yellowjacket when his car hit a tree.
"I kind of panicked and went off the road," Nunes said Wednesday.
His car went down a 15-foot embankment.
He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg.
"I had to get a stitch in my tongue, and I got a gash on my left ankle," Nunes said. The tongue injury was from his teeth, not the bee, he said. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How does that saying go about keeping your mouth shut and letting the world think your a fool, instead of opening it and proving your a fool. God forbid this guy ever drives with a cell phone, or a cup of coffee.

That was actually pretty funny. Sorry, I don't mean to laugh at others' misfortunes, the headline to the post was really entertaining.
Thanks, jamesinca

3. A bee flew into my grandmother's mouth |

My mom's mom. My Dad told her if she shut her mouth once in a while, things like that wouldn't happen.
Didn't go over so well.
