What should I donate to?
I got some money this Christmas. I was planning on buying Metal Gear Solid III. But now I think I have enough games, and the people in Asia could use it more than me, so I will donate the money insead. I see so many charities, but I don't know which one is the best. Can someone help me out?

I originally found this list here on DU, and have been reposting on my Union's venues. For personal preference reasons, I gave to Doctors Without Borders and American Friends Service Committee, but ANY of them should be okay. Take your pick but GIVE. Give a twenty or fifty NOW (on-line) and then figure out later on, how much more you can spare. A dollar used NOW, would save more lives than a twenty next week.

5. I gave to Doctors Without Borders and Oxfam
They both have very good records, and are 'on the ground' already.
