I'm paying over $50 a month for high-speed yet, according to the McAfee speedometer, I'm doing UNDER 20k!

@#$% it.

And before you ask, I don't have any spy-ware and nothing else is running... I checked and re-checked.

1. Which company
is screwing you over? Do you live in a area with bad weather so that EVERYONE in the neighborhood is on?

2. Charter Communications. And it's unseasonably warm & perfect weather.
And I know for a FACT that no one else on my block has high-speed.

This happens regularly b/c I can't get DSL here yet.

3. If you don't have cable though...
Does the cable bleed over to your tv from the broadband? I've got RoadRunner and I decided I couldn't afford the tv part and as soon as I took out the cable I could still get some UHF channels and Bravo and the History Channel and Comedy Central.
I feel the rates are high enough so I think I deserve this.

5. did you see the speed up your FireFox thread?
I mean, if you have FF. It's fucking great.

So fast now, like new pages are cached or something...

6. Perhaps...

...try this. I have been using it on my dial up for a few months and web pages such as DU just fly right in after running TZ Connection Booster. <http://www.trackzapper.com/booster.html>
