Smoking = Supporting Republicans

OK fellow Buttheads. It's New Years Eve and time to make a
New Years resolution. If you're anything like me, you know
all the reasons you shouldn't smoke but just can't seem to
find a reason good enough to get you quit for good. Try thinking
about this when you are tempted to light up:
Every time you smoke you are giving money to the people and
corporations that support Bush*! Every time we light up
we are directly supporting everything DU is fighting!
The fat cats in Big Tobacco boardrooms are laughing their
collective asses off at us, you and me!! Can hear the laughter?

"Poor Addicted Democrats sending us money on a daily basis so
we can keep sending it to Bush* and all the Congressmen who support
our agenda...Ha Ha Ha chuckle snort" "Yer right Billy Bob...them
enlightened elitists ruin their health while paying to support
the very people who will take away their health care and pollute the environment..chuckle snort wheeze!!" "How dumb are they?"

How dumb indeed? Well, Ive had it up to here ->8-) Tonight is the night. After 40 years of playing the Marlboro Cowboy I'm turning
my addiction out to pasture and hanging up the spurs that drove it. No longer will I send $100 a month to Big Tobacco and their Government shills!

That's all you stinking Tobacco Breathers. Wish me Luck and join me if
you dare!

I've tried all the "right" reasons to quit but this certainly is a very good reason to as well. I'm planning on smoking my last cigabut in 2004.

Just to make it through the final Browns game.

Besides that, I'm 52 yrs old, and a funny looking spot came back on a chest x-ray. In the last 2 weeks I've had 2 CT scans, and have to go in for a PET scan.

Definitely time to quit.

I'm a few years older and so far so good.
I ride a bicycle 100+ miles a week so my
lungs still work, I just want them to
work better. The thought of my hard earned
$$$ going to * was the final straw.
