What are your plans for tonight? Mine? Absolutely NOTHING.

I'm staying off the road, that's for sure. Crazy drunk drivers in Mississippi--there'll be thousands of them on the road.

I'm going to build a campfire, invite a few friends who have kids to come visit, and we'll let the kids romp and run while we sit by the campfire and imbibe.

And, yes, we have fireworks, but we are completely isolated from any neighbors so no one will be annoyed by us shooting them.

So, what are you doing? Any other DUers planning on being homebodies tonight?

will probably be in bed before midnight. At our age it is hard to stay awake that late.

The Prophetess is in Florida, so I am doing nothing tonight. Bleh.

4. I'm home

One son going to a party, the other one and his girlfriend home. We'll do something exciting like watch a movie with a fire going and have some eggnog. I was up late last night reading so I hope I make it til midnight!

5. Cold, snowy out and no place to go here in Tiny Town, since I don't do

smokey bars. Staying in with Havocdad, good champaign, good music, good dog and HOPEFULLY, a fully operational bathtub! Between the wall repairs, the tile setting, grout, sealing, and the two weeks of disasters with faulty new plumbing fixtures, I have been showering in the basement bathroom for 6 weeks. Too dark and cramped in there to shave my legs... need tub and a lot of bubbles.... must have long soak OR SOMEBODY IS GONNA GET HURT!!!

8. Staying in, as well.

One of my favorite performers is in town, but tickets are $45 a head! I can normally see this guy at a bar for a $5 cover. So I'll do a $5 movie rental and eat my favorite junk foods. Last night before the diet starts, dontcha know!!

9. Wife has flu

So we're staying home.

We were invited to 2 parties, and thought we'd hit them both. She was having trouble with her eye Wed., so I took her to the doc yesterday morning to get whatever was in there removed. Turns out it was Pink-eye (She works with a foster care agency), and by last night she was a total mess with the flu.
