Thank You and Happy New Year 2005 (I hope) to all at DU |
|
This is my 1000th post (woo-hoo!) and nearly my last one for this year. I'm heading out shortly to a New Year's Eve party (*haven't been to one in some years*) and am looking forward to seeing old friends there.
Before I leave, though, I want to thank the folks at DU, especially those who run this place, for being here for me and all of us newbies who arrived after the (s)election. Especially important to find that there were still many folks out there who thought like we did...that we weren't crazy (*Well, okay...we're all a bit crazy, but that's another story. Some here are a bit more crazy than others...and you know who you are.) for being so desperately angry, depressed and despairing, yet anxious to find a way to go on from there.
Good luck, good health, and good wishes for all of us in the coming year!
PS: and would somebody tell me how in bloody hell I can break this new addiction I've got?? two months = 1000 posts? I'm getting nothing done around the house! :)

1. Happy New Year, mcscajun! |

And congrats on your thousandth! The only way to kick the addiction is acknowledge it, admit it, and then say, "Screw it! It's too much fun!"
Then go party.
