So many dear souls have passed on this year... |
|
Not to be maudlin (although it is), but this year has been so hard; so many people I've loved have gone on: Uncle Ernst, Tony's nephew Charlie, Msgr. Niebrugge, Dr. Don, Leonard and Tanya... *sigh* So many.
I was selfish this morning, when I said my prayers: I asked God if he could see fit to 'lighten up' just a bit this coming year. I've never done that before, but it's what I asked for today. May 2005 be a better year for us all.

for losing people. That's really tough.
New Year's Eve always feels a bit melancholy to me- it speaks of the passage of time, and of loss.
Amid the sadness, it's important to preserve a sense of hope. I join you in wishing this whole troubled planet more light in 2005!!

passed on we need to do a :grouphug:
For all of them....even for a very few of our DU Tombstoners who had too much passion and couln't deal with "rules." A very few...(not the freeps) but the "others." A moment of silence.
