4. Not entirely flawless - Bon Scott isn't on it. |
|
Other than that, it's great. :headbang:

5. I heard a funny, funny interview with them |
|
on the radio and they were asked if they ever felt guilty that they'd released essentially 11 copies of the same album (i.e. all their albums sound the same).
There was a few seconds of silence then Angus Young answered: Hey, we have 14 albums!

7. Well, all the albums are the same in style. |
|
However, "Highway to Hell" and "Back in Black" are the standards by which all their other albums are judged. Yes, they have not changed a lick, however there is in truth only one "Back In Black" and one "Highway to Hell".

8. A lot of casual Ac/Dc fans aren't aware that they made 6 albums with Bon |
|
The American album "High Voltage" is actually a combination of the band's first two Australian records "High Voltage" and "TNT". Then for whatever reasons, Atlantic passed on "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" entirely, until after Bon's death and "Back In Black"'s success, in 1981.
And even Let There Be Rock was somewhat altered in the US version.
It's a crime, really. Just like it was when they did it to the Beatles and the Stones catalogs in the 60's.
