5. I'm drinking...

a soda. Most of my friends, including myself, are spending a quiet night at home. One, who is always so energetic, is not up to going out. Another drank like a fish last night and has a nasty hangover, so I cut my visit short. She told me to take her champagne away because she didn't want to look at it, so I headed to another friend's house to spread some good cheer and found out she's still smarting after getting a ridiculously juvenile text message on her cell from her ex-boyfriends new girlfriend last night--the a-hole ex didn't bother to tell her he had a new girlfriend, and apparently she's psycho to boot and somehow dug up my friends cell number. We drank the two bottles of champagne and watched a nice chick flick-'Kill Bill II'. Friends called and wanted us to go downtown, but bah. I sobered up, drove home in a snow storm, almost slid in a ditch and took the dog for a walk. I'm just sitting here waiting for midnight in MST, and then off to bed. I think I'm getting old.
