should i flee the country?
now, here's the thing. i've already bragged this up to a bunch of my dumb buddies at school. i said that if bush gets reelected, i'm transferring to a school somewhere in europe to finish out college.

anyone think this is a good idea?

or is just cowardly?

if you think its a good idea, what are some good (but not TOO expensive) european colleges.

keep in mind, I go to Pitt right now. I'm kinda looking for a European equivalent to that.

7. Maple makes my point, then.
If you're determined to study in another country pending the outcome of an election, chose one like Canada, where the language is conducive to an education, and where the educational system is not markedly different from the one you're familiar with in the U.S.

12. Do you like free education that will be accepted by Pitt up to 30 credits?

Pitt in Germany is a good program that costs nothing. The course requirements are a bit stringent but possible. The deadline is October 10th. The good thing about this program is that once you've gone, you know your way around the University of Augsburg well enough to apply independently.

16. Well it is a good place to go and you would learn to speak it.
It is always good to get around the world and see others and let them see a good Am that does not wish to shoot some one. We all do not run around with a Bible in one hand and a gun in the other.

15. We all have to drop that line of not elected the 1st time
If that is true then if he wins in 04 he can again run in 08 since 00 wasnt an election. Dont think that they arent considering this. So please everyone stop saying that.

9. I have thought about it.
If * gets re-selected I would love to jump ship, but I'm a daddy and my son comes first. If America continues this way, I know I'm gone when my son is 18. :(

If you speak the language out their why not? I would if I could take my son with me. It takes a toll on me to wake up every day to a hybrid episode of the Twilight zone and Groundhog Day. We are burdened with wearing the freaking sunglasses:tinfoilhat:

11. I've said the same thing
about bush being reselected in 2004. I am a college graduate but if there are going to be 4 more years of Shrub I am going to try my hardest to get into the Peace Corps. I have been considering the PC for a few years now.

14. It would be the excuse I'm looking for ....

to move to Amsterdam. I've been wanting to go there for so long....just for the scenery, of course.

C'mon family, we're moving to Amsterdam.

I don't know how I would convince my wife, though.
