are there any programs out there that will allow dos old games

made before sound cards to use the sound card? I found a copy of the first Leisure suit Larry but I can't get any sound, I think it uses the speaker on motherboard which I doubt I have

2. OK, I found something.
It's not the same page I found before, but it does the same thing. It's a DOS emulator for Windows 32-bit OSes.

Also, the site has old downloadable DOS games

4. I hope it works out for you.
Sometimes getting old games to work in Windows is a bear. I'm still waiting for a playable version of Descent II that utilizes OpenGL. D2X doesn't like my joystick. :)

Actually on second thought I don't see LSL on their compatibility list, I wouldn't mind being able to play the first 3 games or so of LSL. My primary interest would be in playing Sam n Max though...
