daughter and her friends are now very into Elvis and Marilyn Monroe, so I get a kick out of it.I did just buy "Jailhouse Rock" for her for Christmas. I once dated a man who was about fifteen years older than I was, and he had been very good friends with Elvis. He and other friends used to get calls from E. for early morning football games, when he was home in Memphis. So I have "STATUS" with her friends now. My daughter has just become a major Beatles fan, and that is a real kick for me. We were up watching "A Hard Days Night" until the wee hours last night with her.

but we all had to remind each other how cold it is in the states we all left behind....of course, my husband, from Montana, had to hang his head out the window all the way home complaining how he wishes he was trudging through 3 feet of snow! Brrrr......
