Happy New Year - who's hungover? Who's not? Who's still up?

I managed in all my ferocious out of control partying to fall asleep sometime around 11:00 pm, and didn't get that third load of laundry done. Needless to say, I am not hungover, and will begin finishing the laundry soon.

I was hoping I could at least watch two movies last night, but only got through one - The THunderbirds (though I did watch about 45 minutes of the "making of" featurettes of that movie).

New Year's is just like any other day of the year for me, especially this one. However, there is still a chance I might do some imbibing to forget about my apprehensions for the coming year

7. Me too! It was the worst New Year ever...

I was alone. At 10:00 I opened my little bottle of champagne to find it was flat. My best friend told me to get lost. Thank God Bush is in office to make my New Year seem not so bad.

17. We're snowed in where I am......

seriously....we had a major snowfall the other day, travel wasn't advised in the city. Lots of snow can cause havoc and shut down things. :)

Half the office showed up for work, the others couldn't make it. I'm guessing not too many people went out partying last night. :)

I feel asleep early (I've been so tired this week!) and yelled at the noisy drunken neighbours for gabbing in the halls and waking me up at 11:30!!!

18. I woke up about 45 minutes ago.

I'm still too full to even think about eating again. There's STILL enough food to feed an army leftover. Not hungover though. I drank in moderation. :-)

because I don't drink. I did do a prayer ceremony last night and then went to bed at the unearthly hour of 8:45 pm. I got up at 8:15 am-felt wonderful being able to sleep in and not get up at 4:33 am (time I get up to go in to work).

and I feel just fine! I had a pretty good buzz, but not trashed. It was GREAT New Year and spent time with a wonderful person.
