Humanitarian Gesture: List Hangover Remedies Here.
Vitamin B1, Vitamin C and the amino acid Cysteine. The Dirk Pearson/Sandy Shaw remedy. It works. Plus plenty of water.

Failing that, kidney dialysis. ;-)

12. Do Not take Tylenol. The combination of alcohol and
Tylenol can cause liver damage. Read the label.

4. Of course! Hair of the dog. Oddly, I've found that sometimes I skip
a hangover completely that way. I mean, the 2nd day after there's no hangover at all!

This thread is making me thirsty...

5. I don't even have a hangover
But I'm gonna have a little hair of the dog anyway. Just in case.

I think for breakfast, a nice Stoli, orange juice, and cranberry should be just right.

6. How about a preclude?
Drink plenty of water with your alcohol. And when you're done, drink an entire liter before bed.
And after the fact, drink a liter of water, take some vitamin C, some kind of pain reliever like Tylenol or Advil, and maybe some tea. Hangovers are just dehydration.

7. I got a hangover from the champagne tasting
Edited on Sat Jan-01-05 10:06 AM by supernova
last night. :P Wierd b/c while we tasted 5 different champagnes, I collectively had the equivalent of about 2.5 glasses.

I was going to have mimosas this morning, but I think I need water more. :eyes:

10. I gave up hangovers long ago
But, I had enough prior to quitting that I am still considered an expert in the field by 37 different countries.

-Water, lots of it.
-A sports drink helps.
-Despite feeling the need, limit your coffee intake. One cup if you must.
-A multi-vitamin, preferably before going to sleep, but as soon as you have some food in you, otherwise.
-Eat small, but make sure to eat. Protein and fat help. Acidic food does not.
-Stick to tylenol, and only in the recommended dosage. Other painkillers irritate your stomach.
-Sleep as much as possible after all of the above

The best defense is a good offense. Never drinking to excess means never having a hangover.

13. water, water, water and more water.....
...you feel bad because your liver's mad at you, so water puts him in a better mood :)

Really, the lousy feeling comes from dehydration.

15. nux vomica 30X
In my pre-homeopathic days, I would drink a large glass of iced instant coffee sweetened with fructose or a large glass of very cold chocolate milk. Whatever remedy you choose, follow up with plenty of water.

17. Don't take medicine
It won't help that much, and it could screw your liver up. Drink water and eat some greasy food, that always seems to help.
