8. Isn't it sort of sad, though, that we need a cartoonist to point out |
|
what is so painfully obvious?
Still, when I read this, I burst out loud laughing!

14. It is sad. It would be nice if the media would bother pointing this stuff |
|
out, like they're supposed to.

17. I've come to the conclusion that competence in the media is an |
|
aberration--don't expect to find it very often.

5. Gary Trudeau should be required reading for dems. I love the fact that |

bush** is still an asterisk with a very tattered and worn helmet.

Yeah that does leave Rice out. Wish they would have thought about that before 9/11.

10. It's amazing that she still has a job...you just know that if any Dem |
|
tried to criticize her, the Repukes would play the race card. I was hoping that since Obama is now in the Senate, he might take the lead in getting rid of her.

13. And for some reason, Dumbo trusts her and she trusts him...you're right |
|
no one is calling for her head because they're afraid of being called racist or sexist. But I don't think that's the only reason she's there--obviously no one except Dumbo in the administration thinks much of her--but they're letting him keep her because they know they can handle her.

15. Condi is BushBot's "work out" partner |
|
Honest - she and Prez Dumb Ass exercise together every day. (And since he is SO worried about his waistline in the coming year, he'll need to re-double his efforts with Rice.) Wonder how that is going to work out now that she is moving to the State Department? I'm betting it doesn't change a thing - it is much more important for them to have quality time together than for her ass to be in her chair at her office across town actually doing any work. She has managed to miss the boat, mis-read, fumble, flub and totally screw up as National Security but Bushy trusts her. This is the only administration ever that rewards for incompetency. With BushBot you can be all you shouldn't be - screw up your way to the top.
I don't care she is a woman, an African American, has a PhD, she is the poster child for a Bushy appointee - incompetent but loyal, stupid but manageable, in over her head but likes to exercise, and is willing to do the things to Bushy that Pickles has refused to do for years. She's perfect.

But I've never seen him this angry. Between him and Garrison Keillor, I see the depth of anti-* feeling in the US.
