Seriously I heard this yesterday at work. Anybody have any updates/news on this? Supposedly the kids set fire to the house when the dad actually sold the stuff.
I don't believe it of course, and think it might not have had time to get on snopes yet.

who set fire to his parents' home after not receiving Christmas gifts.
I may have this wrong, but I believe he was found walking back to a mental health facility, smelling of smoke and an ignitable substance.
Maybe no one was able to be straight with him about the Santa situation.
It was in the Kansas City Star, so it must be true.
