5. "I Feel Fine"
Edited on Sat Jan-01-05 04:54 PM by sheeptramp
Thats the first record I ever bought with my own hard earned money.
The B side was McCartney's "She's a Woman".

The label was an orange and yellow swirl.
It was a 45 rpm with a big hole. I had an insert that fitted in the hole to play it on my own small-hole phonograph.
My phonograph was portable. When folded up and ready to travel,It looked like a red and white suitcase.

8. Ever flip it over and play "She's A Woman?"
It went top ten in its own right, but is now undeservedly forgotten.

16. That Web Site Has All The Weekly Survey Lists....
...from 1960 (when WABC became a Top 40 station) to 1982 (when it became a talk radio sewer). Also yearly surveys and other information about WABC.

It's my favorite non-political web site.

I've never actually heard it, so I can't comment on the song one way or the other.

11. while i agree that a lot of music in recent years is total and utter
shite, i think there's still some hope: the indie movement has opened up whole new worlds of music, where the message is just as important as the music...

also alternative rock, some of it is really stepping out and tearing apart the britney spears' of the world...(chevelle, radiohead, audioslave...these are my antidrugs!      )

17. I didn't say anything derogatory about latter-day music.
I just happen to like '50s and '60s rock and R&B better than anything from the last 30 or so years. And I was born in 1966!
