DU winos: is there a non-alcoholic even worth drinking? |
|
Let me just say I love my wine. I loooove it. Loooooooove my wine. ;)
But we've been experimenting with the wagon for about a month. I'm fairly unimpressed with the n/a beer that's out there, even when I spend a few pennies.
Is there an alcohol-free wine that's worth bothering with? Or should I stick with the Martinelli's sparkling cider, which has the added effect of making me feel like I'm 12 years old and every night is Christmas? :P

1. The Cold Duck sparkling alcohol free champaign is good. As for |

wine, it loose a lot in the translation. O'Dooles beer I have found tastes like the real thing. Or at least as I remember it.
And if you're going to feel like 12 and every night is Xmas, why would you switch!!

I realize it's not on topic, but on the beer... I dislike: O'douls, buckler like: Clausthaler, Haake Beck and tolerate: St. Pauli girl.
edit: spelling

Health food stores have some excellent non-alcoholic 'wines'.

6. I had to thnk a long time about this one... |
|
But I finally remembered something I like.
Get a good herbal, fruity tea in the big ice tea bag. Make a strong pot, then add a cinnimon stick, and some thin slices of oranges (peel and all). If you want to, add cranberry juice or apple juice to sweeten it. Drink it hot. It's almost like a sangria and great on cold days.
