So, I always wondered if people on DU with similar screen names we're related.
For example: me: bigwillq Am I related to other DUers with big, will, or q in their screen names?
Has anyone else thought about this?:)

once had beauticians who were married to twin brothers. I think that makes us almost the same as third cousins twice removed. ;-)

7. One has two parents, four grand parents, and eight great-grandparents. |
|
That’s eight possible genetic inputs to you from the third generation removed or the number two to the power of three. In ten generations, the possible genetic inputs are 1,024. In twenty generations the possible genetic inputs are 1,048,576 (over one million) and in thirty generations the possible genetic inputs are 1,073,741,824 (over one billion).
Given three or so generations per century, then 10 centuries ago it is unlikely that the world had a population of one billion.
One can always have fun with numbers and we’re all related.

It's an insult to people with mental retardation to be equated to George W. Bush. They are far better people than he will ever be. But do keep up your crusade. :eyes:
