It's what I was trying to get at in my post questioning the meaning of this thread. I loathe when supposedly progressive people make fun of folks with disabilities. I've posted this numerous times here, and still there are those who find humor in it. FYI - I've worked with people with mental retardation for 25 years now, and I have a 5 yr. old niece with Down Syndrome. It's pretty disgusting to see it put up here for amusement. Sigh.
