it's my choice. I just think I'd make a really good alcoholic, so I figure I'd better avoid the stuff. But it is fun to watch friends drink:-)

downtown. It was fun times.

Damn him to blazes though, spoiled guy that he is. He doesn't even have a job, and his parents bought him a condo downtown, and filled it with furniture and electronics, AND they pay his full college tuition, and bought him a damn SUV, and still give him spending cash! :grr:

Gah, I hate being jealous but...damn it all.

I still have half a bolly of Stoli, however, to wash all that jealousy away in an alcoholic stupor.

I guess one knows when it's time and when they are able to make that sacrifice.

I know I love my man but I'm not sure if I would be willing to make that sacrifice at this point.

Is it wrong to think like that?

Seriously, I think I will come to a point when I feel that way towards somebody.
Like I said, I love my man but I'm still young enough to maybe try and experience all I an out of life.
Which could mean, moving out of state. I don't think it would be fair for either one of us, if only one of us was willing to make that committment.

I honestly thought I'd spend the rest of my life alone.

But it was like they say "when you least expect it, you'll find true love". And that's what happened to me.

I think you might have the right attitude for yourself. If you're still at an age to want to experience all that life has to offer, then do so. You may not want to get tied down right now.

45. Well, the tied down part is a little sticky
I got invovled too fast with the man that I'm with now, financial stuff, etc. But we have made it work.

I know my man thinks we're going to spend the rest of our lives together and I could see that happening but there's also another part of me saying

"What if"? You know.

I don't know what to tell you...or IF you want me to tell you anything. All I can say, as trite as it might sound, is to follow your heart.

That sounds like such a copout. I only want you to be happy. :-)

Edited on Sat Jan-01-05 08:58 PM by Kellanved
I was there just a few weeks ago. Best fries I had stateside, but I didn't care much for the music.
The Unnamed Bar is an Army/Cop place with some of the best hamburgers on earth, I have the address somewhere in my notices - I'll look it up tomorrow.

The "Bar": liked the Pizza, but the leaky roof did kill much of the possible entertainment :-( .

As to the Diesel's I like the atmosphere, but missed Caribbean style (hint: fresh lime) drinks and they definitely need to do something about their Beer selection...
One of the best Barkeeps I've ever met.

Rudy's is a Bar which happens to serve fries - it is a gag, as the place is run by a Belgian. Well, OK: it is somewhere between a Live Jazz Music Bar and a Sit-Down Fries place).

But, yeah, now that I think about it, it is indeed possible that they don't exist anymore... (sorry, it is too late for me)

23. I retired early
to prevent my dogs from barking. We went to bed at 9:30-9:45p, fell asleep quickly, woke up once and went back to sleep. If there was noise in our neighborhood I didn't hear it, guess the dogs did not hear noise either. I was also bored. I had a ribeye steak, 5 oz lobster tails and salad last night for dinner.

Did I mention my new pillow that helps me sleep?
