17. I can't really say with out giving up the ending but
I wanted it to be happily ever after between the two main characters. I know that that is not how it is the book but since when have movies been true to the book.

God she is like an angel with those eyes of hers. She like my real crushes isn't what people would call "hot" but pretty, and to be honest, thats best, because pretty emcompasses everything, hot to me is a first impression.

24. BEAUTIFUL! America is overdue for
a pacifist movie about the Civil War - especially in these times when those old divisions have come back to haunt us aqain.

25. Saw It, Didn't Care For It

If you want to see a terrific war/romance movie, go see "A Very Long Engagement," even if you don't normally like long movies with subtitles. Take some Kleenex with you. Great flick.....

26. answer me this:
why does a movie about the american civil war star english & australian actors/actresses?

is outsourcing so rampant that we can't even find people from this country, to portray characters in a movie about this country?

anyway, that's my rant about cold mountain. that, and the smarmy accents.
