I listen to ALL rock stations in Chicago, and Q101 has fallen quite a bit from where it once was.

I know that it's fun to bash a once unknown/underground group when they achieve fame/success/popularity. Not saying that's necessarily the case here, I just happen to have noticed, especially with Modest Mouse, this whole backlash crap, and I think it's stupid.

That having been said, I haven't seen the performance of which you speak (type?) and I have never actually seen them live, so I can't judge how they sounded.

I just think that they're not very good. There is a whole lot of that going on in rock/pop today. It seems that the middle part of every decade, excluding the 1960's, produces some really boring shit.

I was watching too, and all I have to say is WORD TO THAT!! I never liked Modest Mouse, and I don't see what the big deal about them this year was either.
