ROTK extended has the most hilarious easter egg ever.
On disc one. You'll find it in the same place ALL the extended LOTRs have their eggs hidden. Hit it - it's a total scream.

6. *sigh*
OK, go to scene selection, and get to the very last scene. Then once you're at the bottom, bump your cursor down one more notch and a little gold ring will appear. Select the ring and you get your hidden feature. It's the same hiding place on every LOTR DVD.

3. That's the first thing I looked for when I got my copy of ROTK
Bwahahaha! I have to say, my favorite easter egg is the Gollum acceptance speech on the TT disk, but this is damn funny too.

4. I thought it was lame.
I was hoping against hope that it would be the rumored cheesy 80s love montage Peter Jackson did with footage Aragorn and Legolas to "Hungry Eyes". But now I'm convinced some fangirl lied to me and it doesn't even exist (even though Orlando Bloom mentioned it in an interview and said it was very, very funny).

I still say the best easter egg was on the Two Towers EE where Gollum stole the MTV award from Andy Serkis and started cussing everyone out. That was genius right there.
