I just deleted a virus...Do I need to do anything else?

I'm a little surprised. Getting rid of the virus was pretty easy. AVG wouldn't delete (or heal) the virus for some reason, so I found the folder it was in and just deleted the whole folder. Re-scanned and it now says there's no virus. So maybe it worked. Do I need to do anything else?

if you did not all ready after deleting the virus.

4. If you're a ME or XP user it may still be in your Sys. Restore.

It may still be in other places on your system also, such as in your registry.

I suggest doing a google for that virus and then seeing what is recommended on it's removal.

5. Did you use the Soprano metheod?

You know, shoot the virus in the head, cut it up and bury in cement?

That's a sure fire way to make sure it doesn't come back.
