I was born in the Pittsburgh Area back in the 70's when a football Dynasty was unheard of. Being from there, You bleed Black and Gold. Back in the Day, I watched Franco, Mean Joe, Terry, Lynn, Roy, Jack (times 2), Prince Chazz, and the boys take it to all who dared enter. After the 70's I watched my Team restructure, rebuild, we had to get used to a foaming at the mouth crazy man on the Sidelines in Bill Cowher... A man the NFL actually told to Turn it down a notch as he was too ummm Excitable. We have survived Malone, Bubby, O'Donnell-After he decided that he was really playing for the Cowboys in the Superbowl instead of My boys in Black and Gold, and Kordell. We've lost a few great players, I still miss hearing the stadium erupt with the chant of "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" cause we couldn't say the guy's name...I loved seeing Rod Woodson outrun "Neon Deion" in the Big Game, although we lost, and pointing to his newly repaired ACL, screaming "Who's the Man, Bitch!" I Loved the old days of the Steel Curtain, and I love the New Days of Blitzburgh. We have waited for this season, To us it is more than just a game, To us it is how we are Born. We are Pittsbughers, Loud, Brash, and Proud. We don't just wear the Black and the Gold, WE BLEED IT. To all those dare enter: Welcome to Blitzburgh.
