Michael Crichton to release new novel: "Defrocked"
(Reuters)- On the heels of his most recent novel "State of Fear," a scathing attack on global warming, novelist Michael Crichton takes aim at the sex scandals gripping the Catholic Church in his latest release, "Defrocked."

Defrocked is a riveting tale of an 8 year-old sexual predator who, posing as an altar boy, seduces unsuspecting priests, only to turn around and accuse them of child molestation later.

When asked about his motivation for writing such a novel, the 62 year-old author replied, "The fact is, the public just isn't getting much of an opposing view regarding this child molestation issue. I've been researching this problem for three years, the truth is some of these kids just wanted it."

Queried about possible fallout that this novel might bring, Crichton responded "Sex crazed prepubescent children are a problem that no one wants to talk about. It's a shame that someone should have to fear for telling the truth."

"Defrocked" is scheduled to hit the shelves on Good Friday.

2. I hope he takes a good look at...
...those lesbian school girls in Oklahoma, too. It's a crying shame that only one girl can go potty at a time down there.

11. I'd like to go to OK
and investigate those lesbian, farmer's daughter schoolgirls too. I think someone will make a movie about them any day now.

8. He just doesn't want you to worry about global warming.
You should be concerned with real fears like,
Dinosaurs from genetic engineering or
nanotechnology or alien viruses or Japan or
time travel to the middle ages or
being sexually harassed by Demi Moore.

9. Crichton's just a telling you what his masters want you to hear
Pollution is ok, and overconsumption of fossil fuels is nothing to worry about.

Just keep buying, spending, and not thinking like a good little consumer bot.

10. Nice piece of satire.
I picked up one of his novels a few months ago, just for some mindless entertainment. It's the last book of his that I will ever purchase.

12. Crichton is such a fucking HACK!
The only good book he ever wrote was the Great Train Robbery, and even that was sterile, a world viewed through a telescope, peopled with cardboard characters. And that was his best work. It's been all downhill from there. Somebody stop him before he writes again.
