Chain-ey or Cheen-ey?
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 10:34 PM by NYC Liberal
I always though Dick Cheney's name was pronounced "Chain-ey" (that's how I say it), but apparently he says it's supposed to be pronounced "Cheen-ey." How do people here say it?

6. CHEENEEY--------He Said It, and So Does Alan SIMPSON
Dick the CHEE-NEEY said that in his home wilderness that's the way it was pronounced, that only in arriving in D.C. did the FRENCH proununciation take over. And asshole ex-Senator Alan SIMPSON, an OLD friend of his, when speaking the name, also sez CHEEEE-NEEEEE.
