Mmmm....Old Spice ::drool:::
Ok, so, my boyfriend uses Old Spice *everything* (body wash, aftershave, cologne, deodorant), and I am now madly addicted to the smell of Old Spice. It drives me crazy. I smell Old Spice and I just get all worked up.
Too bad he's back in Maine and I don't get back in Boston til the 15th.
So, my sister (who also loves Old Spice) bought Old Spice deodorant today for the both of us.
I now smell of Old Spice.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

1. Define weird. . .
If weird means sleeping with your boyfriend's t-shirt as a pillowcase, then, I was definitely weird. That's how I'd handle those lonely nights when home on break from school.

Only mine wore Drakkar, not Old Spice.

7. It smells of my Ex
God, it was long enough ago ('88-'92) that it's hard to say specifically. It is kind of musky/spicy smelling, so you'd probably like it.

It reminds me of late-nights - flickering fluorescent dorm-room bulbs, the sound of fish tanks bubbling, the Cure or Depeche Mode playing in the background, and freshly-showered-yet-slightly-salty skin.

You are definitely not weird. Smell is a powerful sense. It's funny how it conjures up so many other memories at the same time.

8. Indeed
One of my exs showered with Head N' Shoulders. When I smell someone wearing that, I instantly think of him.
Smell is the most powerful sense linked to memory.

10. Drakkar gives me a physical pheromone reaction.
Seriously it's like cryptonite for me, I can't think straight. Even a guy I normally think is unattractive will suddenly start looking good if I smell it. Thank God it's not as popular as it once was. Polo does something similar but not as strong as Drakkar.

11. I hear ya on that one!
Both of those scents just do it for me.

I couldn't even think straight last night when I went to bed, just thinking of that Drakkar & the crazy things it made me do. . .

17. You know being female there is a little bit of a luxury
of not being a slave to your hormones, but when I smell that...that's all I can think about...I have to think baseball.. baseball.. baseball.. to get my mind off of it. It never really works either, because then I just start thinking about hot baseball players. It's bad!

9. My 63 year old Dad uses Old Spice cologne
so it definitely doesn't have the same connotations for me as it does for you.

18. A sniff of sniffa!
Old spice doesn't do it for me.... but if you had drakkar on your neck... we'd have a situation! You know kind of like your foot thing.....this would be a neck thing.
Or if you were an Ally Mcbeal fan... a "waddle" thing.
