2. Excellent musician/lyricist
Needs to stop singing, though. I actually like a lot of their stuff more than Metallica's, but his voice...

Agggggghhhh!!!!

Billy Corrigan playing speed metal.

4. Can you imagine if he stated with Metallica
Edited on Mon Jan-03-05 11:46 AM by dr.strangelove
That would have been a group to see. I started following Metallica shortly after he left the group. I would love to have seem Hetfield and Mustaine on the same stage playing together. Not that Kirk Hammet isn't a fine musician, I just think Dave Mustaine would have been a sight to see.

Edited on Mon Jan-03-05 12:19 PM by Droopy
ever do a happy pose for their pictures? I wonder if Dave has that same look on his face when he's posing for Christmas pictures with his kids.

9. Megadeth's shows were as choreagraphed as any Boy Band
Edited on Mon Jan-03-05 04:02 PM by Kire
I saw them with Slayer, Anthrax and Alice in Chains in 1991.

It was pretty lame, and unspontaneous watching them move around the stage in geometric patterns banging their heads.

That, and the fact that every song has the drummer counting to four with the high hat at least a couple of times just turned me off.

Edit: looking at his face in that picture, one thing comes to mind: "the Corey Feldman of Metal." Does anybody else see this?

10. Met him in backstage in the 80s when Megadeth toured with Dio.
A complete dumb-ass.
