Tons of caviar stolen in Moscow ($470,000)
BBC

A massive haul of red caviar worth 13m roubles ($470,000) was stolen from a lorry in Moscow during the New Year festivities, Russian media report.

The lorry containing 22 tons of caviar was parked in south-west Moscow while its owner was celebrating the New Year.

The owner, an unnamed Russian businessman, only returned to check his cargo on 2 January.

The criminals managed to penetrate the guarded parking lot and break the locks on the lorry, police discovered.
